Nanny(Larry's Mom) bought this car for Kartyr and Karlye for their birthdays!!! Kartyr is a good driver and Karlye loves to ride along!!

Kartyr finally moved into the bedroom with Karlye....I told him when he turned 3 he could not sleep in our room on his toddler bed anymore he would have to move in the other room. He has adjusted very well!!!

My baby boy is turning 3!!!

My mom asked Kartyr to wipe off the table for her. This is what he did!!!!

It seems impossible that my baby boy is turning 3 tomorrow.
It feels like yesterday we were bringing him home from the
hospital, then he was rolling, crawling, walking, turning 1, welcoming
little sister, moving to KS, turning 2. Time has surely flown by.
Kartyr is a very energetic boy. He talks all the time and remembers
everything (but the rules). He can say scriptures and sing many
songs. His favorite is Holy, Holy, Holy. We have been talking about
heaven and that you have to give your heart to Jesus to go there.
On Sept. 4th on the way home from church he said, "Oh no, mommy!!
I forgot to give my heart to Jesus at Church." We told him that
he could pray in the car if he wanted. He folded his hands and said,
"a Jesus, a family friends, come into my heart, no hitting, no kicking,
no crying, a Jesus Amen. Then told Larry and I we had to ask
Jesus into our hearts too.
Kartyr knows his colors, numbers to 10 and sometimes 20, he counts
down from 10 also, he recognizes some of the capital letters, he can
ride his bike with training wheels, he is awesome at sports of all kind.
We just recently enrolled him in a tumbling class. He loves it!!!
WE LOVE YOU KARTYR HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!!

My Experience with Portrait Innovations

I decided to take the kids to Tulsa to a place call "Portrait Innovations". I loved it. Karlye did not do well at all. Kartyr was awesome. Thanks to my Aunt Dawnie for her help. Enjoy!!!1

Karlye's Bday Party!!!

We had to have Karlye's First Bday party a little early. Her birthday is not until Sept. 3rd but Larry's family was able to come visit for a few days so we celebrated early. Thanks to everyone who came, she had a great day. My grandpa Mahan offered to make homemade ice cream for her party. He made 2 gallons of the most delicious ice cream. Thanks grandpa!!!! Also my grandma Mahan had made Karlye new curtains, crib sheets and a bed skirt for her crib. They are beautiful. Thanks Grandma!!! Also my friend Maria made the cupcakes and the cupcake cake for her party (the best icing ever). Thanks Maria!!!! Everyone else pitched in and watched the kids or help decorate and at the end everyone helped clean up. I really appreciate it. Karlye got a lot of very nice gifts.

Karlye was not near as messy eating her cake as Kartyr was at his 1st bday party. He had to have a bath. I barely had to wipe her hands and mouth. I did work with her this last week before her party to blow out a candle because I wanted her to blow her candle out. She did it!!!!

Karlye 11 months

My baby girl is 11 months. She has 8 teeth and is crawling and pulling up to stuff. She can walk around stuff and push a toy and walk behind it. She is a screamer and likes to talk back in her own little language. She is a very good baby. Tonight she was playing catch with her brother and she wanted the ball. I told her to say please and showed her the sign. She immediately repeated it. I have only showed her a few times prior to tonight. It is amazing how fast they learn things. Just had to share the video of her new accomplishment.
